Kubuntu no inicia entorno gráfico de manera automática [Solucionado]

Desde ayer 23 de mayo del 2013, he tenido este error, que Kubuntu 12.04 no me inicia el escritorio de manera automática, sino que se queda en lo que parece ser la tty, y de allí yo tengo que loguearme e iniciar con startx.

P.D uso kde 4.10.3, y una netbook lenovo S10-3

Hay que ver que problema hay con tu gestor de pantallas, sea kdm o lightdm.

Para eso vamos a ver con, Ksystemlog podría ser, el log de kdm /var/kdm.log

¿Y la gráfica? A mí ese problema se me presentaba con Nvidia usando KDM pero cuando cambié a lightdm desapareció para siempre.

Asumo que es intel, pero si meto lspci |grep ati, pues me tira sólo con este comando, no con lspci |grep intel.

Ahora inició normalmente, que por lo visto sólo lo hace a veces, no se porqué.

Ese parece ser el log de Xorg, ¿No tienes el log de kdm? igual y por ahi está el problema y no tanto con Xorg, puesto que inicias con startx. no?.

Ahi no hay información reelevante, como kdm registra sus eventos en syslog, entonces una forma de ver que es lo que pasa sería revisando el syslog, para ello;

sudo su
cat /var/log/syslog | grep kdm

Bueno, parece que este problema se solucionó con la ultima actualización que tuve.

De plano que está netbook me ha causado varios problemas.

El comando grep también se puede utilizar de la siguiente manera:

grep kdm /var/log/syslog

Yo desinstalé a KDM y le instalé: Lightdm
